Description: PRIME This course focuses on the overall components providing health care treatment for a potential stroke resident. The learner will be able to define a stroke, identify stroke symptoms, describe the major lobes of the brain and their functions, and explain the difference between anterior and posterior stroke symptoms. In addition, staff members will be able to articulate the immediate response of a suspected stroke, and acute post stroke care management. Course run time 16 minutes.
